The object of this challenge is to get around a tight curve. It is the last curve in the High Speed Loop track. I start off with full throttle first gear and shift up into second at max RPM. In second, the engine reaches max RPM a little before you need to begin braking. In general, you can just leave it in second at max RPM, 73 mph. Then brake hard down to about 45 mph and turn into the corner. Getting back into the throttle lightly to carry 40 mph through the apex, then accelerate out of the corner. Cross the finish line in second gear around 68 mph. On the run depicted here, I actually shifted into third gear early on the start, then downshifted back to second during the braking. I got a little oversteer going into the corner, and dropped the right tires off the track on exit but was able to get the Gold anyway.
