The object of this challenge is to finish!! This, without a doubt, was and still is my hardest challenge. Even with the MOMO, it took me forever to get medals at all, let alone the Gold. I finally got the Gold, but as much by luck as any thing else. My gold medal run was not perfect, showing there is room to get the Gold, even with errors. I tried various techniques, including shifting into third, then down shifting to second, staying in third, but finally I got the Gold by staying in second gear. Clearly, you have to stay on the right during the beginning acceleration run up. Then attacking the top of the first turn in such a way that you are set up for exiting the apex at the end of this first turn where it really tightens up. In my run, I wasn't quite correct and had an excessive understeer slide toward the sign post. If I were better with the hand brake, this might be an easier challenge. Then on the second curve, the right hander, you need to set it up for clean exit to accelerate to the finish line.
